The Safe Return Fee is a small additional charge designed to ensure that your RideSupporter (Personal Support Worker) can safely return home after completing your service. This helps maintain the quality, reliability, and sustainability of our service while supporting the well-being of our RideSupporters.

Why is There a Safe Return Fee?

Our RideSupporters accompany you from the clinic to your recovery location, ensuring a smooth and comfortable transition. However, after their service is complete, they still need a safe and reliable way to return home. Unlike traditional transportation services, our RideSupporters are not drivers and rely on rideshare services like Uber or Lyft to travel between appointments.

This fee helps cover their transportation costs and ensures that RideSupporters remain available for future clients without delays or interruptions.

How Much is the Safe Return Fee?

• The Safe Return Fee is up to $20, depending on the cost of the RideSupporter’s return trip.

• If the trip costs less than $20, the lower amount will be charged.

• If the trip costs more than $20, your RideSupporter covers the excess cost so that clients never pay more than $20.

When is the Safe Return Fee Charged?

• The final charge will show the trip cost, capped at $20.

• The Uber or Lyft receipt will be included in your final invoice for full transparency.
