Earnings

RideSupporters earn 70% of the total amount paid by the Patient after certain fixed costs are deducted. Those fixed costs include taxes, insurance, payment processor fees, booking, and government/regional fees. This means that while your earnings will vary based on the market and Patient cost, you’ll consistently receive 70% of the net amount.

What to bring

RideSupporter isn’t complicated but you’ve got to make sure you have everything you need.

  • Your smart phone. Make sure it’s  fully charged and at your side. You’ll need it to connect with the patient, the medical facility, Uber/Taxi, and RideSupporter

  • A battery charger so you never have to worry about running out of power.

  • Your photo ID RideSupporter badge. Let’s make sure everyone knows who you are.

What to wear

Stay comfortable but always presentable. Practical shoes that you can wear all day are a must. Always dress for the weather. Here are some suggested outfits.

  • Jeans and a plain T-shirt or button up shirt. Classic and simple.

  • Sweater or blouse and a skirt. Professional and casual is what you want with this combo.

  • Casual jacket and pants. Everyone can make this look work.

How RideSupporter Works for PSWs

As a RideSupporter, your role is to provide safe, compassionate, and reliable support to patients immediately after outpatient procedures—especially when no friend or family member is available.

What You’ll Do: You’ll meet the patient at discharge, help coordinate their ride home, and stay with them to ensure they’re safely settled and set up for recovery. You’ll offer personal support, monitor their well-being, and help create a comfortable environment so they can begin recovery with confidence.

Service Types:

  • Recover: Standard post-procedure support (up to 3 hours)

  • Extend: Additional time booked for longer recovery needs

  • Max: For patients who need extended support and supervision

  • Last Minute: Rapid-response bookings with short notice

Scheduling & Assignment: You don’t book appointments—RideSupporter uses a fair round-robin system to match you with patients based on your availability. Just keep your calendar up to date and be ready when you’re next in line.
