🕒 How RideSupporter Timing Works
Each RideSupporter service includes a block of time to support you after your procedure. Here’s how it works:
-
Your RideSupporter is booked based on your estimated discharge time, not the procedure start time. (Be sure to ask your clinic when you’ll be ready to go home.)
-
The service officially begins one hour before your scheduled pickup time. This allows flexibility if the clinic moves your procedure earlier or later by up to an hour.
-
For our standard Recover service, RideSupporters stay up to 3 hours, but not every appointment requires the full time.
-
Your RideSupporter will stay with you until you’re safely home, settled, and no longer need supervision.
-
Once you’re clearly stable, they’ll arrange their own ride and quietly head out.
-
-
For longer services like Extend and Max, your RideSupporter is expected to stay the full 4 or 5 hours respectively.
Your safety and comfort are our priority—and your RideSupporter is there to make sure you’re in a good place to begin recovery before they go.
